The Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are members of the Parish community who help with the distribution of Holy Communion.  They are appointed to this position by the priest.  They are men and women who are willing and able to stand in front of the Congregation and assist the celebrant, with gratitude and reverence in distribution of Holy Communion.  "The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few."
